FAQ
Questions, answered.
The essentials about the product, workflow model, execution boundary, pricing, and early access.
01What is Latchbox?
Latchbox is the control plane for remote agent workflows. It brings workflow design, durable execution, live control, and proof into one system.
02Is Latchbox an agent or a sandbox?
No. Latchbox coordinates agents and execution environments. You can use different agents, models, tools, clouds, and sandbox providers inside one workflow.
03What work can I run first?
The first focus is software delivery: plan a change, work in an isolated repository, run tests, request review and approval, open a pull request, and attach evidence. The same model can support operations, research, support, and incident workflows.
04Can a person approve sensitive actions?
Yes. A workflow can pause at a declared gate and wait for a person to approve, reject, edit, or redirect the next action.
05What happens when a sandbox or agent fails?
Workflow state and checkpoints live outside the sandbox. A run can retry, resume, replay, or move work to another runtime without losing its record.
06Can we use our own models and cloud?
Yes. Self-serve supports your own model keys with no surcharge. Enterprise supports customer cloud and external runtime options, including BYOC.
07How does the free allowance work?
You can start without a credit card. The allowance lasts 30 days and includes hosted compute, managed-model use, and storage. Usage stops at the allowance limit.
08When can I use Latchbox?
Latchbox is in early access. Join the list and tell us what you want to run. Early-access and product updates come from hello@latchbox.ai.
